Making an Appointment

The reception staff are available Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm to make your appointments by telephone, (or in person 8.30am - 5.45pm).

Alternatively, you can make an appointment using our online services.

Consulting Times

Monday to Friday; Surgeries are held, by appointment only, throughout the day between 8.30am and 5.45pm.

The surgery times for individual doctors varies each day.

Home Visits

Home visits are for the housebound, or for those whose illness itself prevents them from attending the centre. Home visits can only be carried out when the doctor considers the medical condition of the patient makes this necessary. Generally this would be when travel to the centre by car or taxi would endanger the patient’s health.  Adequate parking and a taxi “drop-off” point are available at the centre.

If you think you may need a home visit please try to phone between 8.30 am and 10.30 am where possible.

Extended Opening Hours

The Northumberland Medical Centre have extended our hours to accommodate commuters who are unable to access appointments in our core hours.

Extended hours are available:

• Thursday 7.00 am-8.00am
• Tuesday and Wednesday 6.30 pm -7.30 pm
